Made a list. Was bored.

Serene's top 10 movies at the moment

(in order of rank, I think)

She's The Man
This is LAUGH OUT LOUD funny. No one can watch this movie without laughing. Although, the part where Amanda Bynes pretends to be her brother and not getting found out by the other guys in the show due to her not masculine looks and voice is rather fake.

High School Musical
I just love the songs in it. Haha. And Zac Efron and Vanessa Anne Hudgens have awesome voices. The storyline line's ok, although I wish they would show the actual musical but that is obviously impossible cause the movie would be like 4 hours long. I give it a 3.5 stars.

The Chronicles Of Narnia
Awesome show. Two thumbs up. Absolutely love the story line. The scenary was amazing.

White Chicks
HILARIOUS. I couldn't stop laughing. Put Marlon Wayans and Shawn Wayans in a room full of old people, you see dentures falling out from laughter. And like in She's the Man, the part where they disguise to be the opposite gender is totally fake. Especially this movie. She's the Man wasn't so bad. But this is good entertainment.

School of Rock
Interesting storyline. LMAO funny! There's no doubt no actor who can play this role better than Jack Black. So put a sock in it Tom.

Flightplan
I love this show. I mean not everyone will like it. If you like those thriller shows that are not so thrilling that it makes you wanna pee, you should definitely watch this show. Jodie Foster is EXECELLENT in this show. Two thumbs up!

Pirates of the Carribean
I like Captain Jack! He's so funny. Yes, Orlando Bloom looks so cute with Keira Knightly in the show :]

Pride And Prejudice
Yes, I know. You think it's another boring old what you call them stories. But it's really a sweet love story. It's not like those current love shows where the guy bumps into girl, guy apologises, guy falls in love with girl, girl falls in love with guy, you know the whole yadda yadda. Keira Knightly was totally meant to play the role of Elizabeth Bennet.

Scary Movie 3
I laughed till I cried. That's all I have to say :]

The Italian Job
Haha. I know. Most of you must be thinking, 'Whaat?'. I actually enjoyed this movie. I mean it was rather interesting and yeah, it's just interesting. o_O

Yesterday was the Cluster Arts Festival. We had to stay back till like 5.30 for the concert and stuff. There were people from Queensway sec, Queenstown sec (I think) and Da Qiao Primary who came to watch the concert and see the booths.

At around 2 plus, Joscelyn, Divya, Dalvinjit, Joscelyn and I went to the the Performing Arts Studio and then we went to change into our costumes and whatever stuff we had to put on. Dalvinjit and I were angels. Yes, angels. We used the gowns from the musical last year, Anne of Green Gables. They are like SO small, but when you put them on, it's actually a little big. We looked like maternity people. Yeah, that big.

Then, we went to studio, waited there for awhile, practiced the scene then fooled around a little. Hah. At around 3 plus, all the performers were like rushing to the hall, and it was kinda messy. The iTheatre people were quite erm, frantic don't think that's the right word to use), cause we couldn't find our expression masks, which is mainly the reason for doing the whole acting thing. But no worries, we still managed to find it in the end. We watched a few performances at the back of the hall, then the teacher in charge brought us backstage. We were a little jittery. Haha. Who doesn't? I was kinda worried though. Cause all the iTheatre performances did not have any speaking in them, simply because we are wearing full-faced masks, which covers our whole face, so we only can used our hands and body, which can get alittle boring. But, we had music :]

On stage, we kinda laughed here and there (no one can see us, thanks to the masks). Especially when I saw the principle laugh (I think at us. Not mockingly), I found it rather funny. Surprising enough, the whole thing went past like super fast. But it was pretty fun. You know, the whole get-really-scared-to-go-on-stage-cause-there-are-like-3486143873651-people-staring-at-me, then afterwards when you are on stage, your stomach just feels really warm and stuff :]

I can't wait :] Thank God there's no F1/football or whatever thing my brother wants to watch at 7.30

*Archives will be up soon.

Okay, so my little hiatus is over. I was bored! Anyway, did you guys watch Project Runway last night? It was like SO nice (actually every episode is nice, but what the heck). For those who didn't watch, the task was to design a party dress for Nicky Hilton. All the designers were given a port folio with a letter from Nicky Hliton and two photos of her in two different party dresses. And at this point I have to say, I totally can't stand Marla Duran. She totally copied the Chloe dress Nicky Hilton wore (one of the dresses amongst the two photos). Oh, and I can't stand Santino either. He was like all,"I didn't win the Barbie competition, but I won the Nicky Hilton competition... and that's more important. Barbie's not gonna buy dresses from me, but Nicky Hilton might." Btw, the Barbie competition was the episode before the Nicky Hilton one. Okay, enough about project runway.

Went back to school today for this thing called iTheatre. It's for those girls from ELDDS who aren't in the musical. Along with a bunch of girls and a boy from Queensway, and a bunch primary 5s from this school apparently called Da Qiao Primary School (big bridge??), which I've never heard of. The guy from Queensway is like super shy among girls. I mean you can't blame him, all of us are girls, well except the trainer, so he's like really awkward and stuff. The rest of the girls from Queensway are like really nice. Well out the 5, I've only talked to 3, whom are quite friendly. One of them, I think she's called Ariena (I totally don't know how to spell her name, but that's how we pronounce it. I think.) She's like SUPER drama and hilarious. She has like the wildest hair, obviously nice, I've ever seen :] Oh yea, I don't get why they got primary 5s to come to this iTheatre too. I mean they're not from st margs primary and I don't see how they are related to us, the age difference and all. They're like really shy and stuff. But I give them props for daring to act in front of a bunch of secondary 1 and 2 students.

So our instructor is called Mr Stuart/Steward (Again another person whom I dunno how to spell the name but that's how we pronouce it). He's British! Haha. According to Grace David, his accent is what you say, hot :D Seriously, he's a great actor in theatre. He can make you feel as though the mask is really like alive or smth. Oops, forgot to tell you that this is a 3-day course for acting in theatre and with masks. We actually use masks! Okay, so when I first heard it was called iTheatre, I thought it would be really boring, but it's actually totally fun! It wasn't so fun on the first day, cause we didn't know the people from other schools. Actually, we didn't even know they were coming. So, surprise. But today was SO FUN. We used different European masks (these are the ones with very clear expressions on their faces). It's actually really quite uncomfortable to breathe you know. There are like no openings, except the ones for your eyes. So it gets kinda stuffy in there. It's kinda hard to act cause the expression on your mask never changes, well because it painted on already.

After like two hours, we then use neutral masks. At least I think that's what they're called.. We each got one and get to bring them home!

Front. Looks rather alien-ish. Heh.

Side.

Back.

These are really fun to play with. Cause it has some sort of supernatural thing going on, you know, like the phantom of the opera thing. We got into groups of 4 and we did a little scence/dance with the mask and some relly creepy calming music. Haha. Dalvinjit, Divya, Joscelyn and I were in the same group :] Haha. It was really fun. Cause we were doing this kinda funny dance thing, where we were like four elements or smth. Then one part of the song, there was this 'boom' sound, and we pretended to clash into each other and fall to the ground. Haha. We were all laughing behind our masks. So fun. Okay, better stop here. This post's getting too long
